Ally’s Tomato-Free Sauce

Personally, being intolerant to tomatoes makes this gorgeous jar of sauce the best thing in the culinary world.  It tastes like tomatoes, looks like tomatoes, can be used in cooking to replace tomatoes but contains NO TOMATOES! Woohoo!

I can now eat some of my favourite foods without getting ill!  Such as lasagne, baked beans, spaghetti bolognese, chili-con-carni, pizza, moussaka, lamb tagine, chicken madras… the list goes on and on!

Ally’s Tomato-Free Sauce is the perfect alternative to tomatoes and tastes great.  Give it a try!  Use it in your cooking and let us know how it turns out (share your recipes with us and we will put them on the website for everyone to try for themselves – you may even come up with something I haven’t tried yet!).

Alley’s Tomato-Free Sauce is made from the following best quality ingredients:

Beetroot, Carrot, Onion, Cane Sugar, Sea Salt, Fresh Basil, Lemon Juice, Cider Vinegar, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and Water.

UPDATE: Following customer feedback, our jars are now bigger, and we have significantly improved the packaging to prevent breakages during delivery. You can order 3 jars at a time from the online shop.

Absolutely love this sauce. Didn’t think I would as I hate beet root but it’s delicious. It’s great to find a sauce I can now use to make curries and bolognese/chilli that doesn’t make me come out in hives and feel hot and itchy. Big thanks.

I really struggle with the fact that my boyfriend is allergic to tomatoes. He also hates most veg so I really find it hard to cook for him because everything seems to have tomatoes in! I found this online and if I am honest I expected it to be rubbish. This really has saved me! It tastes the same when cooked up. I eat it in meals too! Fantastic! Literally thank you so much!

    Hiya,

Was just wondering how large the jars are roughly? Just so I know how much I would want to order in one go 🙂

    Thanks.

      Hi Laura,
Thanks for your interest in Ally’s No Tomato Sauce! Each jar contains half a pint (just over quarter of a litre) of sauce.

I made chilli last night for the first time in 8 years! It tasted fantastic. I can’t wait to start cooking dishes I thought I would never be able to eat again.
This is a fantastic product! Thank you so much – I feel liberated.

My son has multiple Anaphylaxis causing food allergies, tomato being one of them, at the age of 6 months he almost died when I fed him baby food with tomato in. I have always felt he is missing out when his friends have spag-bol. and pizza .Then I found your site this morning and miracle of miracles none of the ingredients are his ‘danger foods’ I have just placed our first order and eagerly wait for their arrival.

I’m in the same boat as Kirsteen. I was so excited to discover your sauce but am also terribly allergic to lemons. If you do ever create a version without citrus, please let me know as well! Thank you 🙂

I used to use Nomato too and had thought about trying to replicate it, seems like I don’t have to now. Looking forward to trying this, will be different from Nomato however as the ingredients are different. Good luck with the business.

Oh No! I’re just read the ingredients again and this contains celery… I can’t eat celery either… ARGGHHHHHH. I might have to buy a jar just to test. Gutted! If you make any tomato free products without celery please let me know.

I am so excited about trying your product. I only discovered it today thanks to Michelle Merrett of Allergy Essex. I used to use Nomato but that went out of business but having a tomato sauce replacement will be such a treat. Can’t wait to try it…

Oh no, I got so excited. I was diagnosed with an allergy to tomatoes and LEMONS!!! a few years ago and I have been desparate to find something that I can use instead of tomato sauce for chilli’s etc but your product has lemons in it. I could cry!! 🙁 If you ever decide to make one without lemon please let me know. Thanks.
