For years I suffered from mystery stomach pains and problems. Visits to the Doctor and sometimes even hospital did not help diagnose the problem. It was only when I was in my early teens that I discovered I was allergic (or intolerant) to Tomatoes. I now avoid tomatoes like the plague and have been tummy-upset free for many years (apart from when I get caught out by those “hidden” tomatoes).
I have two beautiful daughters and have recently discovered that my eldest suffers the same condition as me when it comes to any food containing tomato. Not wanting my child to go without all the wonderful tomato-based foods that are available, I set to work to come up with an alternative and thus Ally’s No Tomato Sauce was born!
It has taken many, many weeks of development and testing to get the look and taste just right! My daughter and I can now enjoy a whole variety of foods that I have spent the last 20 years avoiding! We both think it is great.

I am so glad to find your website! We just found out one of our daughters is allergic to tomatoes. She had stomach aches often, and she had been misdiagnosed for years. Finally we sought an allergist and found out she is allergic to tomatoes, as well as a few other food/spices.Thanks so much for all you are doing! I am having a bit of a tough time trying to adjust my cooking, so this site has been quite helpful!
Hi, my husband has a very severe intolerance to tomatoes since childhood. His symptoms include diarrhea, indegestion, bloating, and pure pain in abdomen. Since I met him I have had to relearn to cook dinners that do not include tomatoes at all he is very good at knowing what product to buy. I had to learn that even the most minute amount to tomato powder in some sort of mix will cause a bad reaction. He lives tomato free but sometimes he wishes to have foods he used to love. like spaghetti, meatloaf, lasagna, etc. I was definatel interested in your products and will have to give them a try if I can get him to try them he is so leary of things like this. Because he has come to expect if it is red he cant eat it. lol. Anyway thanks for the option for a product that might at least let him enjoy the dishes he misses.
Hi Diane,
I can SO relate to your husband’s situation. I was EXACTLY the same! The whole reason I decided to develop Ally’s No Tomato Sauce was because my daughter (Ally) has the same problem too! I didn’t want her to have to go through her life avoiding all those wonderful foods that I have missed out on for so long. With Ally’s No Tomato Sauce, we can now enjoy a far wider range of meals (including home made baked beans, spaghetti bolognese, lasagne, pizza etc.). Thank you for your comments. It’s good to know we are not the only ones!
