Chicken Madras

Chicken Madras

  • 1 Jar of Ally’s No Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Large Onion (chopped)
  • 5tsp Madras Powder/paste
  • 500g Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 20ml Ghee (clarrified butter)
  • Water

Chop the chicken into cubes and brown in a saucepan with the Ghee.  Add the chopped onion and allow to soften.

Pour in the jar of Ally’s No Tomato Sauce, 100ml of water and the madras powder (or madras paste) and bring to the boil.  Turn down the heat and simmer for aproximately 25 minutes (or until the chicken is well cooked) adding some water as required to prevent it from drying out.

Serve with your favourite rice and Naan bread.  Garnish with fresh coriander.

Mmmyomyom!
